I have always dreamed of owning a shop, but never dared venture into having one. SO…..we jumped at the chance to be part of the Kelling Home & Friends summer pop up with a selected group of Norfolk based brands and artists. Located in The Barn at Creake Abbey in North Creake, Norfolk, set amidst green fields, big skies and plentiful wildlife; it’s the perfect location for Norfolk home birds or holiday makers seeking something new.
A stone’s throw from The Burnhams, Wells-next-the-sea, Fakenham and Holkham Hall, it makes an ideal pitstop for delicious food and some retail therapy. The Barn Café is collaborating with Kelling Home & Friends; offering light breakfast options, morning coffee, lunch and you can also book afternoon tea there.
Caro is showcasing a selection of new prints across a range of our designs and we are keeping our micro shop regularly refreshed with changing collections of our ever popular washbags, make up bags and best-selling shower caps and bath hats. We also have two rails with a selection of our beautiful cotton nightwear - bias cut lacey nighties, easy pull-on kaftans and chemises, strappy pieces for sun or sleep, full length or shorts set pyjamas and our famous wrap kimonos in full, medium or shorter lengths.
Kelling Design is the brainchild of Interior Designer Emma Deterding who set up her company in 2006 and has transformed properties across the globe with her love of colour and textiles. Kelling Home @kellinghome is the retail arm of her design company and the Barn shop is packed with their beautiful lampshades, soft furnishings & textiles, upholstery and interior accessories.
Also taking part in the pop up are @abahna.uk luxurious bathing products; @iris.and.i.jewellery handmade jewellery; @aurinaltd giftware and textiles; @hollyblocks cotton print frocks; @flos_eiderdowns bedding; @troylondonuk country wear; @willaandthebear luxury nursery designs; @marshesandflint children’s lifestyle; @fenwickandtilbrook specialist paints; @norfolkoliveco olive trees & Mediterranean plants; drinks and chutneys from @leith_house_orchards, @brancaster_gin, and @artisandrinksco; prints and paintings by @guy_allen_artist @traceyrossartist @antoniaclare_art.
